Lavish Land

A sticker price of $1.25 million US Dollars is what this Hummer costs that were used by the courageous journalists who covered the Iraq war.  The auction to sell the Hummer was done on January 20, 2007 by CNN who decided to give the proceeds to the Fisher House Foundation.

It was Vietnam veteran and founder of the Re/Max International Inc., Mr. Dave Liniger who bid $1 milliion US Dollars for the hummer and was able to buy the most expensive SUV sold during the auction.  Another guy also tried bidding against Liniger for the Hummer, Mr. Dave Ressler who finally decided to add an additional $250,000.00 for the charity.
