We’ve seen many rich man in movies who would ask someone to make a picture or statue of himself like an idol. This is like to represent their authority in one’s land. Well in the industry where a lot of beautiful men and women captures a lot of hearts, Hollywood’s Kate Moss’ golden statue has been revealed. The golden statue is priced at £1.5m. Kate’s statue is the latest in a series by Quinn, who has also created a likeness of the supermodel in plaster a few years back.

Marc Quinn designed the statue and is bound to be exhibited at the British Museum this coming October 2008.

The golden sculpture was named Siren and believed to be the largest at this present time compared to the Egyptian statues. This is the first of its kind. We guessed that sooner or later, a lot of the celebrities in Hollywood would want to take home a golden statue of their own. Be it for personal reasons or for charity, this is definitely an expensive hobby.
