Maybe you’re into fruits and other greens that you think would make you healthier. But how can this equate to being a big spender or a luxurious buyer? Then here is a perfect example of a food elegance, or should we say, food tripping for the extravagant.
This is a cantaloupe found only in Japan’s Sapporo City Central Wholesale Markets. It is considered the most expensive fruit, cantaloupe when it was auctioned this 2008. The pair of cantaloupes that were bought for the highest price was bought by a proprietor of a seafood restaurant and other souvenir items for touristsd.
The reason for the auction is because the town where Yubari were produced went bankrupt last year and this special auction will help much in the rehabilitation of the place. The cantaloupe was sold for $22,872.5o.
