Montblanc

Here’s a new addition tothe family of the world’s most expensive and luxurious pens in the world.  The Montblanc’s Patron of Art is a 2007 series which is offered to the German naturalist and leading cultural patron Alexander von Humboldt.

The pen is made of a rare wood called the granadilla which is found where Humboldt spent most of his time for scientific studies which is in the southern hemisphere. The pen is trimmed in sterling silver.

So far there are only 4,810 pieces made for sale which you can buy if you are willing to pay $2,552.
